Which type of battery is optimal for inductive charging?
The system can be used with all types of batteries. Though it would be best to use the system in combination with lithium-based batteries (LFP, LTO) depending on the use case, since these are designed for short-term interim charging with high currents.
Which channel does the battery and the charger use to communicate with each other?
The battery and the charger do not necessarily have to communicate with each other. If desired, a CAN interface may be used in this case. As a rule, the protocol of the charger is then stored in the BMS
Can we use a standard lithium-ion battery from a vehicle manufacturer such as Linde? Is the battery manufacturer warranty maintained in this case?
What battery capacity is recommended by Wiferion?
Can the vehicle control system be supplied with 24 V (or battery voltage) during the charging process?
Yes. The charging system is simply connected in parallel to other power consumers. When charging, the entire vehicle can remain supplied. This works very well with lead batteries. In case of lithium batteries, coordination with the BMS may be necessary.
Is it possible to combine several etaSTORE LFP to have more storage/capacity?
The etaStore LFP typ B modules can be assembled into a larger system in connecting them together. The system can be up to 2s10p modules, meaning up to 48V and 210AH. One module will take over the role of the leader battery and interface with the rest of the system.
