In five years, what technology trends will be standard for automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs)? That’s what the AGV Network, highly respected in industry circles, asked its followers on LinkedIn. The result: with 42%, inductive charging clearly prevailed over Natural Navigation (32%) and Cloud Robot Management System (23%). This means that the majority of industry-leading AGV and AMR companies believe that contactless charging will be one of the most widespread and powerful technological developments in the coming years.
