Because where dirt, moisture and rough handling are the order of the day, established battery charging technologies reach their limits. Failures due to a defective energy supply are therefore inevitable.
Safe operation is essential to make farming robots attractive for farming and their task with various tools. Therefore, mobile, wireless energy transmission is important for the robots.

With our wireless battery charging systems, we make the reliable 24/7 use of autonomous robots in agriculture possible. Our etaLINK charger transfers the energy automatically, highly efficiently and contactlessly according to the principle of magnetic induction. This has numerous advantages in rough outdoor use and also vertical farming, compared to conventional technologies such as those with plug connections.
etaLINK has IP 65 certification and is therefore weatherproof. It is an encapsulated system. Moisture, dust and dirt cannot harm the charging process. This drastically reduces the risk of downtime due to a faulty power supply.
Mobile energy supply for automated agricultural vehicles
In combination with a mobile charging station, our charging systems can charge the farming robots. Supply them with energy fully automatically, even in wind and weather. The autonomous agricultural systems can thus be used permanently in the fields. There is no need for cumbersome transport to the farms to supply the vehicles with energy there.

Freedom from maintenance as a further safety criterion
Our inductive charging station does not require mechanical contacts and is therefore practically maintenance-free for the best harvest automation. Regular maintenance by farmers and OEMs is not necessary.
All battery types can be charged
etaLINK works via plug-and-play and can currently charge at 3 kW. With the battery charging system, all completely electrically powered farming robots can be supplied with electricity. The cell chemistry is irrelevant.
However, we recommend using powerful lithium-ion batteries for mobile robots.
