Interoperability is one of the most pressing issues in intralogistics. At LogiMAT this year, an entire theme world will therefore be dedicated to the efficient operation of mixed robot fleets for the first time. At the “Interoperability Hub” in Hall 8, Stand 8B29, Wiferion, Continental Mobile Robots and SYNAOS, together with selected partners, will be presenting how interoperability can be reliably implemented in practice.
LogiMAT 2025: Recipes for success in the operation of mixed AGV transport fleets
Mobile transport robotics has experienced an unprecedented boom in recent years. However, with the growing popularity of automated guided vehicles (AGVs), autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and the like, manufacturers and operators of warehouses and distribution centers are facing new, more complex challenges. In order to automate various transport tasks in a layout, these same manufacturers and operators require a large number of specialized transport solutions that need to be controlled and operated together.

Interoperability has therefore become indispensable in modern intralogistics, as it enables the efficient and trouble-free operation of a wide variety of transport systems on the store floor by ensuring seamless communication and connectivity through compliance with common technical norms and standards. This leads to greater efficiency, lower costs and more flexibility in logistics processes.
Experience fleet control and charging infrastructure live at LogiMAT 2025

At LogiMAT, visitors can see for themselves for the first time how the harmonization of fleet management and hardware infrastructure can be implemented. There will be three days of innovation pitches, expert panels, product presentations, customer cases from partners such as Omron, Amazon Web Services (AWS), PohlCon and others on the various aspects of interoperability and AMR applications on the Interoperability Hub event stage.
On a 180 square meter stand with a driving area, numerous mobile robot systems from various manufacturers will be in operated live, controlled via a central control system from SYNAOS and charged with inductive charging systems from Wiferion. Practical experience shows that interoperable solutions enable greater efficiency, lower operating costs and maximum flexibility.
