In a dynamic and highly competitive industry such as logistics, efficient and uninterrupted material flows are of crucial importance. To ensure maximum uptime for its robots, Bluepath Robotics, which specializes in autonomous mobile robots (AMR), needed a reliable and powerful power supply. The choice fell on the etaLINK3000 inductive charging system from Wiferion.
Fit for 24/7 use with Wiferion
Bluepath Robotics as an internal innovation project at Ford Otosan and was spun off independently at the end of 2023. The Turkish company from Istanbul develops and produces autonomous mobile robots for a wide range of intralogistics applications. By automating processes, the robots help to reduce human error, increase efficiency and improve safety in the workplace. The portfolio currently comprises more than ten different AGV and AMR models, categorized under three main types -tow type, underdrive lift type and forklift type- which can be customized to meet customer needs in material handling, warehouse automation, and production line optimization. The payloads of the systems range from 100 kg to 18,500 kg
In addition to standard solutions, Bluepath Robotics also offers customized AMRs – a successful concept: in 2025, the company opened a new office in the USA. Bluepath Robotics already serves customers from the automotive sectors worldwide.
Maximizing operating time – the search for the right charging solution
The performance of autonomous transport systems depends crucially on their energy supply. This is a key challenge, particularly for the underride robots that Bluepath Robotics prefers to use in intensive applications with high operating time requirements. In environments in which AMRs run continuously and must be ready for use at all times, longer interruptions to operation for charging have economic consequences.
Conventional charging methods with physical contact points such as plug connections or sliding contacts were out of the question for Bluepath Robotics, as these not only lead to undesirable downtimes, but also cause increased maintenance costs due to mechanical wear. They also have the disadvantage that they hinder the flexible use of the robots by setting up separate loading zones, thereby limiting the overall productivity and availability of the fleet.
„Our robots are often in use around the clock and need to be continuously supplied with energy. That’s why we needed a solution that ensures maximum availability, minimizes human intervention and is easy to implement and maintain at the same time, » explains Fehim Duzgun, CCO of Bluepath Robotics.“
Wireless through the night thanks to in-process charging from Wiferion
After intensive testing of various solutions, Bluepath Robotics opted for the etaLINK 3000 inductive charging system from Wiferion – a PULS brand. This technology enables contactless intermediate charging during short stops directly during operation, so-called « in-process charging ». The result: continuous 24/7 operation of the AMRs without charging breaks. For CCO Fehim Duzgun, the simple integration of etaLINK3000 was also a decisive factor: « The Wiferion technology is not only fully compatible with our AMRs, but also with existing warehouse and logistics systems as well as the existing IT infrastructure. The reduction in human intervention in battery management and the significantly increased availability of the robot fleets have been very well received by our customers. Overall, this allows us to significantly increase the added value of our solutions

Wireless energy transmission eliminates the need for mechanical contacts, which not only drastically reduces maintenance costs but also increases reliability. The charging pads can be approached omnidirectionally, i.e. from all directions. This enables flexible and fast energy absorption without restricting vehicle navigation or requiring additional positioning sensors. it significantly reduces energy consumption and thus sustainably lowers the operating costs of the entire AMR fleet.
Smoothly to the perfect charging infrastructure
„Wiferion supported us with comprehensive advice and an individual layout concept that is precisely tailored to our AMR, » says Fehim Duzgun, who is delighted with the rapid integration of the etaLINK charging systems. This enabled us to quickly equip our customers with an optimal charging structure.“
Implementation at Bluepath’s customers is also uncomplicated and flexible: Wiferion’s inductive charging pads can be easily integrated into existing production or logistics environments at strategically sensible points – on walls, on the floor, along routes or at loading and unloading stations. In contrast to line induction systems, no extensive structural measures are required. In addition, the charging points only work when they are really needed. This saves energy and increases safety.
Inductive charging as a game changer: more efficiency and customer satisfaction
The successful collaboration between Bluepath Robotics and Wiferion shows how crucial a powerful, flexible and maintenance-free energy supply is in automation. With etaLINK 3000, the Turkish company can now offer its customers fully autonomous and uninterrupted material handling. In addition, the Wiferion technology is integrated into Bluepath Robotics’ fleet management system. This allows companies to centrally control and monitor their entire AMR fleet – from navigation and order management to energy supply. The company thus offers an end-to-end solution that scores with maximum efficiency, scalability and seamless integration into existing logistics and production environments.
